Harley Davidson teamed up with Pixel Black to photo retouch their studio photography of the new 2021 Pan America, adventure touring motorcycle and Bronx, street fighter motorcycles. The photography consisted of full bike shots but largely focused on the key features of the motorcycles. The key features visually show the parts and components of the new and ground up designs of these bikes. Photography was conducted in the Harley-Davidson studio located in the iconic Jeanue Ave. campus in Milwaukee, WI. We worked closely with their photography team both on and off set and insured their vision was captured and then refined in the photo retouching. The images were often composited of several photographs in order to capture the correct lighting conditions and desired reflections that the photographer saw as he sculpted light across the motorcycles. After composition of the various shots merged into layers, our team went through every pixel of chrome, paint, rubber, background and shadows to refine the images to the desired look and feel the company was after.
